I see so many artists posting about how you should always make art for yourselves and not care about interaction or feedback from people. But that's incredibly important for the artist and their work; knowing that there are others that enjoy what you do is the grease for the gears.

banging on my drum again. Even an artist who only makes art for the love of the game, for art's own sake, will share art only if they feel there's a point to doing so. If you want an artist to share more things, tell them you liked the last thing, what part, and why.
