My therapist told me to today that I wasn't struggling to accept my illness. What I am struggling to accept is how angry I am, BUT that he thinks my anger is justified.

This makes me feel things.

There was this kid I used to play with when I was about 6, who owned the full millennium falcon, which we all wanted to play with. He was SO bossy and made all the rules which were basically no fun for anyone but him. He had the power of "the good toy". This is vibe our premier has always given me.

Today is my very favourite day of the year. Not my birthday, not Halloween. It's the day BEFORE my wedding anniversary. It's the day my husband said those magic words. We were on our way to our rehearsal, and he came up very quietly behind me, held me close and said "I love you".

Today I am FILLED with gratitude for @kaymayf.bsky.social
I was totally dysregulated after my car got booted, I am basically blank. But I know I was well taken care of, held, made to feel safe. My body is now dealing with the fall-out but my heart is well taken care of. That is a great friend.
