I’m so, so deeply sorry for your loss. Vega was so very loved and I’m sure he knew how precious and dear he was to you.

You went above and beyond for him. I was hoping for you guys, and I’m so sorry you had to say goodbye.

He will always be with you in spirit. Love like that doesn’t ever fade. 💔

I despise that bsky doesn’t accept transparent images and does… that… to them >:/

LMAO I mean, if given the choice, I also prefer to stay inside in my warm comfy bed so I agree with them!! :3

And by required by law, it’s a $500 fee if the state catches on, and if a rabies suspect bites one of us, it’s a mandatory quarantine or the aforementioned euth for testing.

However we had one client ghost us AND Animal Control after his rabies sus dog bit a tech. No idea what happened after that.

Indoor is always better in my honest opinion! But yeah, even my two indoor only kiddos are vaccinated.

Rabies is required by law in my state, but we can’t FORCE people. They decline it all the time unfortunately.

And with corporate, we can’t refuse to see a pet even if they refuse to vaccinate 🙃

And for those unawares- Rabies testing for animals means euthanization and, basically, decapitation. We send the head to a lab.

The parts of the brain that must be sampled for testing are impossible to sample while the animal is alive.

VACCINE YOUR PETS. Do NOT fuck with rabies.

We recently had to send an 8 month old kitten for testing after it suddenly became neurological and attacked the owner and their child.

They declined all vaccines, yet they allowed the cat outside.

A LOT of people don’t want to vaccinate, and it’s the pet that pays the ultimate price. It’s sad.
