As long as fans keep buying tickets there's no incentive to change. The post-Jordan Bulls remind me of the Lions before Sheila took over. It's a die hard football town so people still went to games even when they were mediocre. It got so bad that the Draft was know as the Superbowl. Sound familiar?

The only explanation I can think of is that JB wants to show his players that he has their back. Otherwise it makes no sense.

Back when I could dunk I did it every single possible opportunity I could. It was only if I was exhausted that I wouldn't attempt it. And a lot of that was on blacktop or concrete.
So yeah, it's perplexing to watch guys conserve especially under the conditions and training and recovery available.

Consumerism fills a giant hole in empty people's soul and hearts. It's really sad (see record personal debt) and I feel fortunate that I broke my kids of that mindset.
