The learning of #React #Native continues why I'm sick! Today I made a higher / lower game where the phone guesses my number. Following a #Udemy Course and Learning a lot about Mobile Layouts.

Next chapter is about adaptive layouts. More Theory than development.

Got some basic reports up and running today. Pretty happy with it. Made the containers conditionally collapsible with a slight animation. Every page in this app has some form of content now, though thinking of implementing invoices.

Anything obvious missing?

Today, I wanted to work on reports. Realized I was missing Tax, Discounts UI and Categorization for Products. Therefore today I added all that in, and plan on reporting tomorrow.

All in all, a good day.

Today I implemented discounts into my POS Application. For now I focused on Buy X Get Y Free and Fixed Price Discounts. Focus on more functionality tomorrow

You can see the discounts working in the Virtual Terminal below.

Great advice yesterday to add Top sales and Low Stock Metrics to the Dashboard. Couldn't fit both so I decided to make it changable. Also added 1D barcode generation to Inventory and Updated the UI for the Terminal to work with a Barcode Scanner!

In addition, if you enter a product name or barcode that doesn't exist in inventory, you can create it on-the-fly and it'll auto add to the Line Items after the fact

Been toying around with making the Virtual Terminal compatible with 1D Barcode Scanners. You will either have the option to enter product name and select from a list, or Enter the barcode, and upon an exact match, it automatically adds it to the Line Item List.

Looking for some advice/thoughts on a metric to include in the blank space. General feedback welcome too. So far I've had a suggestion to include top selling products. Anything else or any other panels I could include?

I will be allowing the option to Import / Create Inventory, but I am also allowing the user to enter a product in the Virtual Terminal that doesn't exist too, ideally those would be one-offs. Alternatively, I could make the one-off an item in inventory. Thoughts?

Spending some time wiring up my Dashboard for my POS App today. But I am not sure what I should put in the bottom right of this screen. I was initially going to do transactions per user, but if a one person business has this, it makes no sense.

Any suggestions?
