USAID ceased to exist on July 1, and its reckless demise will likely haunt American foreign policy for years to come. I was proud to work for USAID (90s and early 00s). USAID helped to stabilize ravaged countries, saved countless lives, and mitigated the migration of thousands of refugees. #USAID
