The papers cited are good and answer many questions I had. An improvement in upfront carbon over cement-stabilized rammed earth, which itself is much better than typical concrete.

I wouldn't recommend mixing fluorescent & LED in the same luminaire at all. You may need to replace the ballast as well. It's what makes it all work.

Main reason was the plug was pulled and disconnected from the fans internally, so I had to open it up anyway. The fix was simple: knot the inside wire (later builds don't have this problem). I use a simple Temtop S1 ($33 Canadian) to monitor the air. I'm letting the other ones continue as-is.

Changing the filters on the open source PC fan-based air cleaner. It was still keeping the particulate mass in the bedroom below measurable (0.1 μg/m3) but it's been running for at least 17,000 hours. /1

New 20x20x2 pleated MERV-13 above a dirty one. The dirty one looks like fuzzy dust is covering it. Under that is the partially disassembled PC fan air cleaner, showing the top panel of three 140mm Arctic P40 fans with wires hanging out.

6-fan PC air cleaner made from painted black aluminum next to a 2-drawer filing cabinet. Its about as deep as the filing cabinet (20 inches) and is 20 inches high. The front has a width of about 6 inches.

Wayfinding and footpath for the GO Train platform at Bloor Station and to/from the International Centre at Malton Station is horrible. This is my second trip this year and I still took wrong turns and wrong staircases at both stations.

A&W introduced a third-pounder hamburger at the price of McDonald's quarter-pounder in the 1980's but it failed because people thought a third was smaller. They should have made a fifth-pounder instead!
