Not the lobsterman in Nova Scotia, not the college student in Moncton, but the retired physicist in Alabama. I read a bit.
Sorry, I didn't realize that you wear a big girl's blouse.

It's only on Instagram and Facebook, so it's a fake.

A lot of videos on here of animals and babies "blaming" each other. All fake.

New York Times now doing it's best to stoke a moral panic about dangerous e-bikes.

Yes.

Conflation of different vehicles to stoke a moral panic:"ebikes". Ms. Stafford was riding an "e moto" which IS basically a motorcycle. Most ebikes in the states are governed to 20 or 28 mph, with 1 hp or less motors. Also 72 year old man injured going downhill! Gravity affects every bike!

I have consistently been talking about plug-in hybrids (they are bad). The Puma has a "mild hybrid" with a battery good only for a couple of miles all-electric. A completely different thing.

What extra weight? You lose the gas engine and the transmission.
What is this blessed carbon-free land you live in?
December 1, 2025 at 11:15 PM
*A specious argument because the extra weight of battery in a plug-in hybrid requires more energy to lug around, no matter where it comes from.
*I get TVA power, only 40% fossil, but in KY bumper stickers proclaim "coal keeps the lights on," and you can see the smoke that proves it.

With Newhart you're missing the first season of "Bob;" long forgotten by most but dear to me.

Old guy in the back: "But Betamax was better!"

Your plug-in hybrid is carrying lot more battery weight than a basic hybrid, which will increase your petrol requirements in that mode. And your electricity may have been produced from fossil fuels any way, at perhaps 40% conversion efficiency.
🤷

Original idea of hybrids is to allow the gas engine to run at most efficient RPM, "surge" energy from battery, typically around 1 kilowatt-hour capacity. A battery big enough for substantial driving adds a lot of weight and reduces overall efficiency.

And they're not even American male plugs.

Unfortunately my strongest memory of this movie is Kristofferson's muffin top hanging over his leather pants.

2017 Russian film "White Tiger" the screen was full of working T-34s, there are Shermans everywhere in the States, but cinematic Tigers are usually T-55s or the like. "A Tiger is as good as 10 Shermans/T-34's, unfortunately the Americans/Russians usually brought 11."

You should take all necessary precautions to avoid an unsanctioned and totally unofficial event (near each year's Wonderfest (Louisville, KY)), which is called the Naked Resin Attack. Pictures available upon request.

A notable but not overwhelming tendency in the American modeling community is "wehraboos": guys who gush way too much about the Wehrmacht, derived from the meme word "weaboo."

I know an Vietnam era vet who loves R.Lee Ermey on TV, but was shocked when he finally saw "Full Metal Jacket."
"Sure, the DI would yell at you, but he never said those awful things about your mother!"
