I have to teach a class tonight, so we celebrated Valentine’s Day yesterday. For dinner I made fillet mignon medallions with Gorgonzola sauce and Caesar salad. Our cocktail was a French 75, and for dessert, a carrot cake and a strawberry cake with Ghirardelli chocolate from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Yum!

Legendary artist HR Giger would have been 85 years old today. I’ve been a lifelong fan of his biomechanical art, and meeting with him at his home in Zurich to discuss Dark Seed II is one of my most cherished memories.
