So many times in the recent past we’ve played against teams/players who (at that time) were in absolutely wretched form only for them to rediscover their mojo the second their boots touch the Villa Park turf.

Need to see out tough away fixtures like those, that are in our hands, if we’re to progress even further. Forest a decent side, sure, but we ought to expect better from ourselves.

Hard to really praise or berate the side after such a comfortable yet mundane half of football.
Nice to see us largely untroubled at the back but, bar Rogers, not much is coming together in an attacking sense.
Room for improvement but we do look the better side. A win here would be lovely.

Emery cannot keep playing the same way and expecting it to improve. 8 without a win now. Credit in the bank of course but we are now in the territory where he needs to do something different rather than just keep changing the line up every week. Set up has been ineffective all season. #AVFC
