Mega councils would mean more centralisation of power and less say for local communities. That's the OPPOSITE of devolution. Back our letter to Angela Rayner.

Lovely afternoon for canvassing in Keynsham to support our LD candidate Oli Henman for WECA Mayor.

Interesting conversations on the doorstep with disappointed Labour supporters, with Tories who can’t vote Tory anymore and the Green Party notable by its absence. Lots changed since 2021.

Eating disorder cases are skyrocketing.

Despite being among the most serious and life-threatening mental illnesses - treatment for eating disorders remains underfunded, misunderstood, and neglected.

Today, I'm leading a debate in Parliament to highlight the scale of this devastating crisis 👇

Labour has lost its moral compass. Don't let them cut disability benefits. It is wrong to balance the books by taking from the people who are least able to pay. Sign the petition: r.ippl.es/benefit-cuts/

The Spring Statement was a missed opportunity. The government has chosen to continue the pain for small businesses - leaving communities facing the prospect of more closures on the high street - while putting the squeeze on many families.

The Chancellor should raise money by boosting trade with the EU and taxing social media and gambling giants – not by hurting Bath’s small businesses.

Today's Spring Statement was a missed opportunity to deliver real growth for the country.

Delighted to see Bath recognised as a world-class tourist destination!👏

Our city’s unique history & creative industries are vital to the UK’s visitor economy, bringing 6m visitors and £500m annually.

But for tourism to truly thrive, we need real investment in transport & infrastructure.

Good to attend a drop-in with GWR in Parliament today.

Constituents consistently come to me with complaints about delays, cancellations & unreliable weekend services.

We need action, not excuses from GWR - rest assured, I will continue to campaign for better rail services for our Bath community🚂

Fantastic to co-sponsor @feedbackglobal.bsky.social's report launch this morning👏

Shockingly, 10m tonnes of food is wasted in the UK annually.

While redistributing surplus food helps in the short term, only tackling the root causes of food poverty and over-production can overcome this challenge.
