It's not schematically metaphorical, that is its strength. It could easily have been tidier and shorter, but gives so much more, like a broken circle that reveals more with every rotation, all while being as immersively entertaining as any movie in the last 25 years.

People are making "jokes" about kicking these over, but they should grow up and think more realistically about leverage, and how a crowbar wedged underneath would be a more mature choice for getting these fucking little shits on their side and then smashing their lights and other delicate bits.

More knowledgeable allies are more helpful, but in the final reckoning, an ally who's ignorant but enthusiastic and outspoken will help trans people more than an ally who is so knowledgeable they say nothing at all.

I apply this principle to others. I will have to apply it to myself.
