I mostly post about music or bother my friends. Play in long time duo Grand Banks and solo as Dais Queue. New band is Radon Abatement, which is a rock band.

I would like all of those people to then get this stuck on a loop in their head for a punishingly long time: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcOv...

The Low Christmas album might be up there. Any right minded person should also be on board with Vince Guaraldi / Charlie Brown Christmas Special music.

I mean certain songs run on a loop in my head not infrequently. Going on a listening jag is simply putting on the dress uniform once in a while. Or something.

I have not gone on a Lungfish jag in a while. It is probably time once again.

Wonder how well that “first come first served” option will play out

Oh shit, that is cool

It is at Infinite Repeats, which is right next door to Visible Records.

It was made by Thomas Dean, who is one of the people who runs the space (which mostly serves as a screen-printing and art making co-op). Thomas has been playing in bands and making flyers and tshirt designs for people in VA for close to 30 years or something. Good dude.

This will be a good night. Doors at 7pm but music will probably start around 7:30 or so. It is a lovely, low key space full of nice art and usually good people, but that depends on some of you coming out to the show. Hope to see you there.

It was 2018. I know because that was a strange year for me, but yeah that was it.

Definitely one of the best guitar bands of their time. Amazingly creative and skilled at what they were doing.

Yeah Rugfest is where it was I am sure. That was definitely where I first saw her play solo so likely Tyler too. That was a good day, though my life was a mess at that particular moment lol. A lot of good music and people though.

This is good posting. lol
December 5, 2025 at 4:35 PM
Pretty sure I waited a year or so to make this kinda post again lol, I will try not to be a scold about it too often, but it has just stayed something I wish was different than it was.

Eternal solidarity to musicians who want a better outcome for themselves than what is on offer most everywhere else, this post is not meant to go after anyone in particular or shame folks, just airing out my thoughts as every time this happens I feel sad about what happened to those folks.

Whoops.

Lol was just following up with that hah hah! I think the whole concept is bullshit hah hah, though I am sure "the data doesn't lie" ....

Also, of all the places I trust to do shit like determine my "listening age" (which is one of their current bits they are doing to bait people into looking and posting this shit) Spotify is one I would not trust one bit.

I find it weird generally. I really don't care what song or record I listened to the most any given year. I simply am interested in what I want to hear at any given moment lol. Not sure any insights would be gained from me actually looking at my listening history.

Hopefully I did not just jinx us lol
