Pro-democracy, interested in Shakespeare, the human condition, liveable climate goals, and anti fascism & grievance culture that scapegoats minority demographics.
Paid workers are paid workers, not slaves. Their work is too difficult to replace via automation, & their motivation level to avoid law breaking is typically (although not universally) high because they are refugees/undocumented migrants/ possibly fleeing economic hardship/ & or corruption/violence

Voters are typically unaware of policy & their awareness of outcomes are shaped by media ecosystems, many of which are owned by oligarchs with highly self serving intentions.
The U.S. economy was judged to be the envy of the world in ‘24, but tariffs, fascist expulsions/ imprisonment will ‘fix’ that

If only Sirota had, in 2022, rather than pushing out self-indulgent, Dem-voter-intention softening bs like this.
July 2, 2025 at 11:30 AM
So you can see that it’s a Big Deal to use rhetoric that would weaken Dem or Indep voters’ intentions to vote for an administration?
that Sirota specifically describes as having an “attendant unwillingness to materially improve the lives of anyone other than billionaires & corporate executives.”

I know some things and I know false equivalency when I see it (even as I know about some of the significant problems with the 1994 crime bill.. which I include for the curious).

A supporter of Sirota contributes to political discourse by calling Dems ‘fascism lite’, and still Sirota pretends his words have not discouraged people from voting for Dem candidates.
People should be more vocal in pushing back against these types of people (destructive egotists who pose as noble)

Your rhetoric, including when saying re the last Dem admin: “its attendant unwillingness to materially improve the lives of anyone other than billionaires and corporate executives, all while the administration boosts various rightwing causes.”
softened voters willingness to vote Dem.
Who is lying?
July 2, 2025 at 12:20 AM
You say: “ If you were right, we wouldn’t be in this mess because Trump wouldn’t have won twice.”

So: “If you were right [that Biden was a non-fascist president] then the actual fascist wouldn’t have won x 2
therefore Dav shouldn’t note that Sirota’s rhetoric helped soften Dem support up to 2024”?

Straw man mischaracterization of any Sirota pushback
, defending the clearly indefensible paragraph below, but you keep on with your ‘methods’ of shaping minds I guess, regardless of the costs, whatever they may be.
July 1, 2025 at 10:51 PM
Sirota’s (& other ‘intellectuals’) insane levels of negativity is one of many causal elements of Trump’s win in 2024. You don’t have to take my word for it, but I’m not wrong .

Like this below statement is .. indefensible, although y’all keep defending it.

The difference between you and i is I understand danger and you understand how sweeping ad hominems make you feel good about yourself, in a system-context where Citizens United & an white supremacisr-favoring electoral college have tempted you to feel powerless & lash-outy.
Sirota= both-sides bs.
July 1, 2025 at 10:34 PM
lol ‘the man himself’
Color me impressed that he jumped at the chance to assert himself as a white knight critiquer of Democrats
&any pushback responded to with ‘oh so Dems can’t be criticized’

Personally, I won’t forget his words
deployed to soften Dem support/enable a Trump win.
I guess it pays 💵

It makes me feel ill to have Sirota use my comment to position himself once again as possessing the ‘nobility’ to intellectually spit on the only public servants who were able to defeat US white supremacism fascists once and (with support) could have done so in 2024.
Look what he wrote in 2022:
July 1, 2025 at 10:18 PM
My grandparents were orphaned by the actions of fascists, so I don’t care for people who falsely describe the only public servants who can keep fascists out of power as exhibiting “unwillingness to materially improve the lives of anyone other than billionaires and corporate executives”.
Ie egotists.
July 1, 2025 at 10:15 PM
Sirota degrading Dems: “The Biden presidency has been similarly defined by the party living up to the president’s promise that “nothing would fundamentally change” – and its attendant unwillingness to materially improve the lives of anyone other than billionaires and corporate executives”

Is it…convenient for you to ignore the other, extremely salient points, like the admission from Trump’s Chief of staff/ and former head of military : that he wants to emulate Nazi leaders bc he admires their use of power?
(I expect to be blocked for being rational here)
