I remember when "Let's think step by step" was called chain-of-thought prompting and not reasoning ;)

Sunday breakfast with family at the humble Mil's Diner.

Forgot to take photos of my four-egg omelet with mushroom, bell peppers, pickled jalapeno, and sausage 😔

Super delicious food. Great value too. I was still full for an hour later! No lunch needed... :-)

Occasionally, some photos would look just fine. Night Sight retains that moderated "legacy" look, with moderated tones and strong cool hues that seems unique to the mode; and when it nails dynamic range, it NAILS it.

I don't have any qualms with the somewhat softer image quality (which could be high ISO noise reduction!), because I think of it more like an upscale vintage lens.

But I was pleasantly surprised to find it can keep up with well-lit indoors as well, like if you're next to a window at evening.

Scene: Richard explains his idea of consumer automation — intelligent robots that can efficiently use local resources to make anything the consumer wants.

This lens is a light-drinker. Color rendition on my Canon RP looks about average, maybe somewhat faded — nothing a little contrast or saturation can't fix.

Pleasantly surprised with my EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM that's just come in the mail today. Image stabilization is modest, maybe 1-2 stops of compensation. It's great above 70mm-ish.

If you're not building cognitive reserve now, you won't have it for later.

Open question: Where/when else, beyond higher education, can people build cognitive reserve? e.g. work/trade, travel, free time, critical analysis and due diligence

Thinking about Terry Davis again, "God's lonely programmer". Knew about the OS and his endeavor back in 2017. There was a brief period of time I could've contacted him. May he rest in peace.
