Yes, spent a couple of weeks holiday in the North East and enjoyed seeing several sea birds I hadn't seen in the South West. Fabulous watching juvenile Gannet during one beach walk, where they were diving into the sea.

That furniture for the Heron to stand on looks new (at least I don’t recall it from a recent(ish) visit). Must have come in with some high tides…

Not seen a Water Rail there, but did see the pictures posted of the one in flight. I can see another visit beckoning...

Good catch... especially the Goldcrest - they seem to be perpetually on the move!

The muddy banks were rapidly diminishing with the rising tide when I was there, so not so much for the waders.
