Why cite Luckhurst in any case?

If he loses the squad, time won’t matter. Would love to know what types of discussions take place between Rubin, Jason, and Omar

I think about how close Fergie was to the sack. Different era with far more £££ at risk. I’m torn to be honest. Want him to stay and succeed but a good coach manages the talent at his disposal. I don’t see how tripling down on a tactical system gets you to the desired end state w/o the right players

Absolutely not shocking. My guess is that he stayed on the line to avoid re-injuring his hamstring before he signs on Thursday. That’s being generous

Sancho gives him a run for the money. So does Sanchez for that matter.

Think they’re playing a closed-door match with Villa so he gets some game time

I figured halftime of City match😜

Agent most likely. Apparently not coming from the club so that means agent trying to stir stuff up for Kobbie in midst of WC year and new contract
August 27, 2025 at 5:56 PM
Well I missed that mark then. £45m is ridiculous
August 27, 2025 at 8:43 AM
And the this will be the move that ultimately costs this manager all of good will he has.
August 26, 2025 at 8:13 PM
and it would need to be at least 60m

My concern is that I don’t want Pep 2.0 who has designed the perfect system in his head then has to mine the universe for players to make it work.

Coaching is having Anderson in the starting 11 and still winning the league.

😭😭😭

I’m actually looking forward to cancelling our 12 yr STH package. Giddy, in fact.
August 20, 2025 at 10:50 PM
*no one
August 20, 2025 at 4:53 PM
I hope we don’t sell him. Let him rot. Know one is bigger than the club.
August 20, 2025 at 9:51 AM
Wholeheartedly agree. It’s difficult to question their dedication or passion for rebuilding this club. That’s all that matters.
August 20, 2025 at 7:46 AM
It’s a ruthless game in many ways but can’t say that I’m sad at all. The players grayed out haven’t carried their weight or don’t align with the principles or ethos of play. Only the top 1% should be in this club. Happy to see the shift, long may it continue.
August 20, 2025 at 7:44 AM
I’m more interested in what type of playing philosophy he’ll implement as well as his understanding around the importance of creating a direct link to the first team, unlike City. ‘Barcelona-style’ is a Pep driven model that is on the wane (fortunately) so I hope he will adapt. Best of luck to him.
August 20, 2025 at 7:36 AM
Wrong on so many levels.
August 19, 2025 at 12:22 AM
1 DP on the roster tells you everything about the ambition of this pathetic club
August 18, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Would be even lovelier in League II where City belong.
August 16, 2025 at 6:20 PM
Reports suggest that’s the correct number. Also heard we’re bring in £70m across three new sponsors (one of those being Coke). Assume that naming rights for carrington must be one of those, if true
August 14, 2025 at 11:19 AM
I was gutted for you for what it’s worth. You bring quality analysis and deliver it thoughtfully. More importantly, you provide context and depth to American soccer which is still undervalued. I say all this as soon to be former 12 yr STH of DCU. I despise ownership. Shine a light for all of us.
