Too many missed shots. Especially Hardaway consistently missing 3-pointers is not helpful.

I think it's ok to try out things mid game. Malone only had the bench play at the end of the game when we had a large lead. During the play offs we had tired and/or injured starters, and a bench that almost hasn't played.
