Due to an AI chat bot being employed by The Queens Hotel in Chester, I officially don't have a restaurant reservation. Now I'm running feral in Chester and I believe my earlier research subject Cierce will approve.
Fyi- Grosvenor Museum did not disappoint. #witches The Spectre is brilliant.

Met a wonderful artist named Kristine today at Fron Goch, Caernarfon. She grows her own flowers and transforms them into beautiful dried flower wreaths, scented wax melts, and other gorgeous things. My photo does not do this arrangement justice. #fairycore #NorthWales

Ageing is so interesting. Today my hairdresser added a boost of brown to my red dye because my white hair might turn pink. Then all of a sudden I was like, go ahead, I'm not afraid of pink.

How to make an author's heart happy? Dress as one of the characters from her book on Halloween!
My cousin dressed as Phoebe from my book Samhain Awakening and I couldn't be more excited 😆!

Pumpkins complete! Glowing from the conservatory. Seeds separated and ready for baking. Salt, pepper, and chili this year.
Go on. Show me your pumpkins.

Sometimes the only thing that really sparks my creativity is a stroll through the forest photographing whatever catches my eye...most of the time, it's mushrooms.

Very pleased to announce that my talk tomorrow at Llandudno Museum is officially sold out! I'm so grateful for people who decided to buy tickets, share my advertising, and support me and this event.
Looking forward to taking my audience through the barriers from seance to science! #spooky #museum

Brilliant, thoughtful, and deeply unsettling.

Aug 1st 2023, I launched my 1st novel, Yule Moon, at The Rock Shop in Paducah, KY, USA and at Y Segontiwm, Caernarfon, UK. Today I sold my last author copy of Beltane Ash(Book 3) at the Anglesey Writing Festival. All that's left of my original launch swag are 19 postcards. What shall I do with them?

Swt doing his best to keep me from working too hard. This method is called a snoozel handcuff. You can't move or you'll wake the cat!

I was looking for my website (because it is in desperate need of an update before my next book comes out) when Co-pilot decided to jump on and tell me about myself. I'm not sure whether I am flattered or disturbed.🤣

What do authors do when they aren't writing? Work. I have the privilege of being a tutor in creative writing for Adult Learning Wales, a private writing tutor, and just occasionally a public speaker! If you're in #Llandudno come and learn about the science and mysticism of Talking to the Dead.

I wouldn't read it to children if that's what you mean. There was a so-called children's scary story collection that inspired Something Reaping. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. It was also illustrated and responsible for my nightmares from about age 13 to 15. I'm still not fond of scarecrows!

I'm going to start a channel called 'weird stuff I find in my yard'. For context, I live in a remote small holding. When we moved in, it was full of junk. 3 years later, #weird stuff just keeps turning up. A doll eye stuck to my foot, a graveyard of plant pots, and now a 2inch plastic horse shoe.

My Dad passed away Thursday. This weekend I bought tons of bulbs as if I'm subconsciously trying to plan for a bright future. Grief is a strange emotion.

My Dad passed away on Thursday. My friends and family are making sure that there is brightness in this dark place and that I know that I am loved. I am so grateful.

Launching February 2026, this is an interconnected investigation of those dark childhood monsters we never talked about but all seem to share.

A warm sea swim at Dinas Dinlle on a day when the three sisters are staring over the water like the legends they are. You can't beat a sunny day in Wales.

A cloud inversion yesterday evening made the mountain I live on look like an island on a sea of clouds. I feel like there is a life lesson on perspective here, but I'm unable to see it. (Pun intended.) Happy Thursday 😁

Angry pets in historic paintings always amused me because they could have been depicted in a thousand different ways and the artist chose angry. This one comes from Lowther Castle and Gardens. Have you spotted one? #AngryPetArt
