Not sure if Americans had these TV miniseries prominently advertised locally but there was an era in the 90s as a secondary market here in Australia where tv networks licensed C grade mini series or made for tv movies that then got chopped up over a few nights.
They advertised the hell out of them.

The Knestling Knight!
This avian atrocity is made up of two ferociously focused fledglings! Inside their mechanical knest, these siblings train their weapons to the point where they've refused to fly away! One wields a longsword while the other braces with a bronze shield!

A major inspiration for the morphs in Keeper is the Nome king and his creatures from the movie "Return to Oz" (1985), which Jeremy brought to our attention. Rock surfaces change shape in unexpected ways and stuff appears / merges with the environment thanks to the wonderful stop motion animation.

At least as a kid with friends yelling out the age verification questions in Leisure Suit Larry to get answers from adults in another room only unlocked terrible innuendo and maybe a pixelated nipple.

That Roblox interview is very funny though, highly recommend tech fucko crash outs.

Blender is integral to future indie pipelines in ways many have not even imagined yet.

Blessed be those that support Blender.
Blender is struggling. it's the best piece of 3d software on the market, and it's free. I'm not going back to autodesk.
please donate if you can!

The recent episode of Welcome to Derry annoyed me in a very specific way.
They show a class watching a science film set in 1962 and the film is nothing like educational films of the era let alone nature footage of the era.

First snail is from the show and the other shots are from 1961-65.

Working with @nicholasmc1.bsky.social on this fairly unusual game was an absolute joy! re-calibrating my concept work for first person was a pretty interesting challenge as well! ( everyone else wants top down) I made Key art, concepts and a few cheeky 3D characters as well!

Lots of folks captioning aurora photos like "for a few minutes we didn't think about politics"

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

Just a normal one with a bunch of local schools getting closed today after finding asbestos in the coloured play sand.
Recall issued and schools closed over asbestos risk in coloured sand
The ACT has taken the extraordinary step of closing 13 public schools today, with several others to be partially closed due to potential asbestos contamination.

If I was Mr Nintendo I'd make Pikmin Innerspace.
Honey I shrunk the Olimar.
Play as Olimar but you get shrunk down even more and trapped in a full size Mario just living his life.
You have to use little pikmario to find pieces of the now damaged re enlarging mechanism lost all over Mario's insides.
