I went a few years ago in the summer and was raving about what a great place It would be to live when I came back to work, then someone said that (according to French friends who'd moved out there) until you've survived 5 winters in Montreal you can't consider yourself a local 😂

Ha, we have our book club on a Sunday am too (it's online and there are friends in Asia in it too, so it's 4pm for them). We've been reading Orbital for this one

They also made a series of The Thursday Widows but based it in México which took some of the humour away from the idea of the Buenos Aires 'country' urbanizations. But also worth a look if you enjoyed the book
