So sorry to hear this, hope you’ll get him back home with you soon. Shout out if you need a lift to the hospital to visit, parking is horrendous as you’ll know.

I hate them too, it’s like they have armour the same as cockroaches.I heard that daddy-long-legs (love that name) attack them so I never disturb a d-l-l web. It might be a myth but it’s also a good excuse not to do dusting lol.

Excellent news about the grant. Will investigate that too! Yes pine is my mainstay, just haven’t had much luck with Oregon or bluegum, but it could be the old burner no drawing well. Macrocarpa mmmm.

Thankyou for this post and thread. Following with much interest - seems a lot of our older burners are expiring in the next couple of years. Can I also ask what wood mix you generally burn?
