i am not defending pirating but i’d love for all the authors out there who are rightfully outraged to understand that library access is REALLY limited in some areas/countries! like i’m with you and the solution is never pirating but for some people who love your books the only option is to buy them

i can usually express myself in both the languages i use daily but mannnnn. an expression i miss often in english is the portuguese* "que remédio" which literally translates as "what remedy" but is figuratively used to mean "what fucking choice do i have" (as in, there IS no remedy for this)

i think if you want to have those disgusting LED headlights on your car, you should have to do a test where they blast you point blank with your own headlights and then you have 15 seconds to successfully complete some sort of vision-based task, and if you can't do it they push your car off a cliff
