When I was 12 ai bought a used copy of a book that was a diary of a man either going insane or becoming a vampire.

It was the most raw thing I had read. I thought it was real for a bit, then realized that it was a novel. It showed me that books could be so much more than what I was led to believe.

There is nothing in the process of translating Spanish that adds transphobia.
