But older trans people exist and they have communities like /r/translater! 💖

I struggled with these thoughts myself, since I always *thought* that I had a good idea where my life will be taking me at that point.
Then I read stories of trans people who started transitioning in their 30s, 40s, 50s... and I realized that you're never too old to just be... *you*! 🏳️‍⚧️

Important PSA: if you know you're trans and you feel like you're too old to start therapy - you're not.
I figured myself out a few months ago when I turned 38. My endo was talking about one of his patients who transitioned FTM at 60. It's never too late to be happy 💖

Didn't post it here yet, but I started my HRT (and weight loss injections) two days ago! 🏳️‍⚧️
So far it only made me very eeby, so thankfully it doesn't interfere with my progress on Lunistice a whole lot :D

From what I've read, anecdotes from other trans people and what doctors told me your genetics generally play a much larger role in how your breasts develop over time. That they grow in "spurts" also seems to be relatively common! :D

The short of it: your body cycles fat cells all the time. Meaning drained cells die off after some years and new ones get created.
With HRT your body creates new cells in new places. Losing weight doesn't mean you won't "fill" these new cells, as your body has to store tiny amounts of fat anyway
