Cranky lioness. You know me from Twitter. Cats, game design, Judaism, and very long threads. (She/her)
When the other cats were hunting small animals, Max was hunting leaves, so I don’t think size is the only reason he’s not killing people.

(But to the point, Maine Coons are specifically bred to be gentle because despite being small for a predator, they are large enough to wreck you.)

I did read my cats the Ad Astra Comix history of Sabo Tabby as a bedtime story!

So women are hormonal and that is why men must treat us as subhuman.

Also, men are hormonal and that is why they must treat us as subhuman.

And then I notice that he has texted me again.

Here is what I could see from my Ring doorbell the second and, spoilers, third time he rang my doorbell.

So here is what I could see from my Ring when he rang my doorbell the first time and gave me his business card.

So here’s an experience of Existing While Female in 2025.

I need my roof and gutters cleaned. I called a bunch of places and most didn’t get back to me or were actually gutter cover companies that don’t actually clean your gutters unless you buy.

Found a guy. He came for an estimate. And then:

remember, when you encounter a rare female orange cat, that she has to genetically be TWICE as orange as her male counterparts to be orange.

Max and Gus are on the job, inspecting the cat condo/storage tower I am building for them.

lol of course, every single time

you know how whenever a Christian gets called on being antisemitic, they suddenly discovered they have Jewish ancestry?

I feel like this is the same, but for being a condescending misogynist

So we’re in Fife, wandering through some antique shops after going to the haunted farmer’s market and there have been a number of cursed objects, such as this doll. (Short Thread)

Was antiquing and found this painting of a biblically accurate angel

The depressing bit for me as a human writer is that people weren’t much better at detecting the purely human samples than the mixed AI and human samples.
October 9, 2025 at 9:59 PM
Interesting! There’s a notable dip for Gen Z/Zennials. (Very small sample size, though.)
October 9, 2025 at 9:42 PM
I didn't prioritize it being good; I prioritized it being HUMAN.

And that seems to have worked. It's the second most accurately detected sample.
October 9, 2025 at 8:45 PM
I think this might be where genre is a confounding factor, though. The top 3 AI samples here are all variants of the same sample (prompted differently for the same story, essentially). And the human sample is not exactly the same, but similar vibes. (Also, people appear to like Gemini's writing.)
October 9, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Favorites are a bit more complicated, since there were multiple ways to rank them.

Sample 2, a pure human sample, was unquestionably the most popular in terms of number of times it was favorited. However, it was also shown considerably more often than other samples.

Model detection rate: Claude 4 is the most detectable, and surprisingly, the older models seem to perform better (although again, that might be because there are a smaller number of samples with newer models).
