I am one of possibly fewer than 150 million people who would pay to watch Benicio del Toro do literally anything, but yes this premise is Oscar-worthy

Watching the MLB playoffs is easy — just ask your TV provider if it provides TV or get a free trial of Flubo or Gubi or buy an ESPN all access bundle with Hulu unless you already have a Hulu/HBO bundle or sign up for DongleTV Insider or catch some games on TBS+++ if you already have access to it or

Sports are so dumb, and then suddenly they make you feel like anything can happen in the world, and NOTHING feels like that anymore, and it is impossible to explain this to people who correctly state that sports are dumb.

Just read the Mets have gone 37-54 since June 12. They've got $230 million over the Reds in payroll. If there is a single team that deserves the playoffs less than the Reds, it's the Mets.

In a triumph of dramaturgy and symbolism, the Reds just ended their season with the bases loaded
