Same thing happened with me, and I knew it was the impersonator.
Screenshot from an impersonator following me, it has the handle @cephalorrock.bsky.social with double R's. You can see on the screenshot that the number of "following" is high compared to "followers", also there isn't any posts from them, so it was likely a scammer.
