Should somebody tell her that you can get Nescafé instant in the UK?

Honestly, the only thing they would likely understand is if you took everything from them leaving them nothing. That would fit perfectly into their worldview.

No totally, I get it. I just love it so much and can’t wait to plow through it in a few days so that I can be miserable waiting for season 3 for a few more years afterwards 😂😭

Definitely also thrilled for Frieren season 2! It should help quite a lot because I love it too 🤩🤩🤩

I can’t wait! Now get cracking on Delicious in Dungeon season 2!! 😅

I mean, mostly it seems like it’s Boomers that love slop 🤷‍♂️ if the ever increasing stream of slop DM’s from every geriatric family member and family friend is any indication.

Ok, this is a good breakdown with some good suggestions of articles like the WSJ article that may delve deeper. I found this too, that if you can bear the massive amount of garbage ads actually sheds a lot of light on Sheridan’s political views. www.thehollywoodgossip.com/2024/11/is-t...
Is Taylor Sheridan a Republican?
Is Taylor Sheridan a Republican? It's a question on the minds of many Yellowstone fans ahead of the show's long-awaited return.

Well, free until the reboots begin at least 😒

I’d just assumed that Sheridan would be the poster boy for maga and toxic masculinity. Him breaking away because of Ellison gives me hope that I was wrong. None of these articles dig into what was “too political”, or what Sheridan didn’t like about it. It’d be interesting to know the full details. 🤔

Just followed this rabbit hole. Was pleasantly surprised to learn that Sheridan was the one who said it was getting “too political”. I remember saying during an episode of Yellowstone that “every damn one of these characters voted for Trump”.

So good! I feel this!

Man, sorry to hear this. We lost our most recent “dog of a lifetime” Seamus back in 2024 after a long bout with cancer. Still an angry hole with torn edges missing today. I love animals so much more than people 99.999% of the time. It’s hard to quantify how important their lives are really.

I expect we’ll be seeing a bunch of new VFX and compositing stuff coming up with the release of Blender 5.0. I’ve definitely been looking forward to seeing what pops up. Last time I really dug into VFX was in AE and 80% following Andrew Kramer’s VCP tuts nearly a decade ago 😅

But I mean, screw the prompters too. Not a day passes without my late 70’s dad sending me one or two slop reels. Prompters are the ones flooding our consciousness with slop and normalizing it even if just by dialing our reactions down to background noise.
November 19, 2025 at 5:03 AM
Honestly for me it’s supporting slop and slop generation at all. It’s using these tools that’s normalizing it and also helping it get better and I just can’t justify that ethically until they proactively solve the fact that human survival is still inexplicably tied to the work AI is displacing.

Awesome, feel free to come back and tag me when you’re done! It’s way lighter in tone than my usual (Hamilton, Tchaikovsky, Reynolds, Banks) but it was still thoroughly enjoyable when I allowed for a little silliness 😅 I’d be interested in hearing what you think!
