I've played some video games. (Mostly Fall Guys...)
No. The dexterity required for the hardest bosses in #HollowKnight only show up at the end when you have plenty of health, upgrades, charms and even an ability to eliminate runbacks. In a way, it makes me disappointed moreso with #Silksong's design. It just feels so cruel.

Yes, I went back and tried #HollowKnight after giving up on #Silksong and already have confirmed #HollowKnight is much, MUCH, "easier". Was really confused when I read others claim the difficulties are similar but having not played it in 7 years, maybe I'm misremembering?

Yes. You can timeout Thin Ice after 5 minutes.

(Honestly, I thought about dropping this player over the slime [even at the last second] but no. I see the cruel humour but I'm not THAT heartless, selfish or impatient.)

Love the presentation but can't wrap my head around the coordination required. I'm struggling to time the looping trick indicator while keeping an eye on the combo meter while also navigating the level designs. I had to use the accessibility options to finish the final challenge.

I'll keep going with #Silksong as what I earned should dramatically open up the rest of the game.

Looks like the nerfed the damage those twirling enemies do and they don't spawn as frequently. I think the boss has lower HP too.

Still a deservedly tough fight but I feel it's more "fair".

The game is over a year old now so I'm thinking that was intended otherwise I'd of been patched by now.

Hmmm... What a weird one.

By talking to the chef, you can figure out which plate contains the safe ones. You'd think only eating the safe ones would win the reward but no. I understand brute force breaks the puzzle but many a challenge in this game can be broken simply by saving, trying and reloading.

I learned early if you're struggling at an area, you're probably missing something. Unfortunately, I've been everywhere I think I can reasonably go and just have to "git gud" at either section. Unfortunately, I find it KILLS the pacing for me.

I've seen videos on how to get passed them and I'm tooled up moreso than they are and barely make it to phase 3 or 4.

I have a threshold: If I have to spend hours trying to get past 1 enemy, it isn't for me.

Reads like it's largely just a re-release with updated controls and save state/rewind options.

That's fine for me.

The original had rather long load times so I assume that's been improved as well?
