Update, Android version now “good enough” for MVP, just RevenueCat and publishing left. Google Play store setup still new to me though.
Any differences between the apps is just “A/B testing”. 😅 I promise to post screenshots someday. #shipaton #iosdev #android

Spent time this weekend working on the Android version of my app, so I could release it alongside iOS version. I didn’t finish, so iOS will be released this week before Android gets out, to keep with the #shipaton deadline.

For my #shipaton app, it lets you create your own library of quotes and insights to reflect on them later. A humble app so I could test out Skip Tools. Pending developer release.

I initially had a very different app idea, but I switched to a less complex one due to limited time.

Few days left for #Shipaton. I built privately due to personal circumstances, missing out on the #buildinpublic experience. Bit of a bummer with that but I kept going so that I could get experience for another release process. App details next post.

I pretty much disappeared for all of August and September. Got real pretty sick with the flu for some weeks, then life hit me with a bunch of popups to address. Going to try and slowly get more active, miss interacting with the iOS dev community!

My #shipaton app idea list is narrowing as I get closer to choosing a project. However, some friends and I noticed a few ideas could qualify for the RevenueCat Peace Prize, which is actually pretty cool 🥹. It’s hard to choose which app because I want to do them all haha.

While waiting for this year’s #shipaton start, I’ve been pressing hard to get a V2 of last years app, Theater Room 7, by end of July. V1 never lived up to its potential 🥺 But I’ll announce when it finally gets updated. #iosdev

I’m unable to fly out and attend Deep Dish Swift this year, but I am super excited for those who are going! 🤗 It’s such a great conference and experience!! #iosdev

Disappeared for 6 weeks due to moving and sickness, but now it's time to get back to my #iOS adventures! Going to start by resuming a Skip Tools course to regain my development grind/habit, and then go from there. It's been way too long!

Quick Updates!
In the house buying process! Takes up a lot of my time, so I’ve been more quiet with posts.
Started learning Skip for cross platform development. It’s been fun seeing iOS/Android run the same app!
Got bit by the pickleball bug and I have zero regrets 🏓 #iosdev

My widget for the Chronicling app shows I haven’t posted or really replied to anything for almost two weeks! Yikes! Quick update coming up next. Also note I missed iOS dev happy hour for Jan and still bummed out about it, definitely missing the iOS dev community

I am taking Azam Sharp’s course on Skip Fundamentals! Anyone else interested and want to collaborate for accountability?
Curious to see how far I can get on Android through Skip/SwiftUI and determine ease of use.

Transferred my watch app from my personal to LLC Apple developer account. Process was pretty straightforward, but might still do a mini write up anyway.

I haven't checked up on my feed, and have been in radio silence for almost 2 weeks. Spent some seriously needed away time with family and friends. But I'm back from the holidays and I'm ready to get back into the action, especially with iOS dev stuff! #iosdev

My favorite water bottle because of the limited edition RevenueCat sticker on it. 😝😁 Starting to take pictures if it goes on any adventures.

Any good places to eat in Fountain Valley/Huntington Beach, CA?

I’m visiting family and would love a good dinner or takeout at for my hotel. My only dietary restriction is seafood.

Figured I’d ask the internet. Any input is appreciated!
