And the last year my uncle farmed in 90s he made $10 000. Farmers when I was growing up were by and large not very well off. We did have a big garden, but didn't own the land, and someone built houses on it 🙄

Not that side. And my dad gave up farming before I was born. At my aunt and uncle's, we had fresh milk, but the only cheese you could get was American cheese or Amish cheese curd, unless you went to find the one Amish shop that sold homemade cheddar.

I was 10, I am not sure my palate had matured by then and there were limited to zero options to choose from if I didn't like it. Anyway, it makes great grilled cheese.

Staying at the John Knox Centre in Geneva as Catholic and a woman was interesting. Also kindasorta being of Edinburgh, the wifi password made me laugh.
