According to a new post I read it is an AI moderation system that they are using. It was giving out way too many false positives. I'm guessing that might be what happened to my post last night. Tumblr said that they tweaked the system last night so it won't happen as often.

Creators work their arses off to make gifs. I sometimes spend hours making my GH gifs. The mask is such a slap in the face.

That is what I thought. They have been over restrictive the last couple of months. Like the littlest kiss, or a character wearing a robe, or the smallest bit of blood. It is all flagged with that mask. I get if they were massive violations but these are minor things.
