#Lidar of Poverty Point, the type-site for a prehistoric culture occupying the Lower Mississippi Valley from c. 1730–1350 BC.

Radiocarbon dates show, however, that the nearby, supposedly peripheral site of Jaketown dates even earlier.

Neue Erkenntnisse zum Kapellenberg bei Hofheim am Taunus | Der Kapellenberg bei Hofheim am Taunus (Main-Taunus-Kreis) ist ein bedeutendes Relikt aus der Jungsteinzeit und bietet durch seine gut erhaltenen Überreste tiefe Einblicke in das Leben und die Siedlungsstrukturen dieser Epoche. Aktuelle archäologische Grabungen ermöglichen nun neue Erkenntnisse zu seiner Baugeschichte. Das Projekt ist Teil einer langjährigen Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Leibniz-Zentrum für Archäologie (LEIZA), der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, der Abteilung hessenARCHÄOLOGIE des Landesamtes für Denkmalpflege Hessen und der Stadt Hofheim.

Zunahmen interner (und externer) Gewalt sind typisch für Endphasen von gesellschaftlichen Zyklen. Auch Europa wird diese Phase wieder durchlaufen bzw druchläuft sie bereits. Es sind Grundmuster gesellschaftlichen Verhaltens, die wir wenigstens seit 7000 Jahren durchgehend beobachten können.
