Also noting there are 33 recommendations, not 32 as has been widely reported.

A lot of them are interrelated, and rely on government ceding power to community.

Under the hood of the headline findings, there's some really significant recommendations for government in this report.

When I started this yarn, I knew the gap was probably widening on Indigenous incarceration.

I was absolutely not ready for how grim things are.

These figures are from BEFORE the removal of remand as a last resort for young offenders in three jurisdictions.
