A Facebook post from Mid Michigan tenant resource center detailing the decision of Judge Aquilina on Sept 17th25. The case shall remain open. There will be hearings every Wednesday at 1300 until all the members of the encampment who ask for assistance are housed. "This ruling is a direct result of the courage of camp residents who refused to be erased, the relentless organizing of allies, and the power of community showing up in force." Part 2 of Mid Michigans Tenant Resource Center's Sept 17 Post. They remind the public that the fight is not over, and the City of Lansing will continue to criminalize survival. Today was a victory for himan dignity. But everyone is still needed to keep the pressure on.

This is a screenshot of a convo between me and a friend who works for the IRS. This encapuslates what it's like to be a fed worker right now. Every few hours, the situation changes. This is mental torture

At 10:13 AM on Feb 19th, 2025, contact indicates that they have heard a rumor that their job is protected from the DOGE cuts. At 12:55- almost 3 hours later- the contact indicates that they have been informed that they will lose their job and be escorted out. The contact expresses their anxiety and desire to go home. At 2:38 PM, the contact relays that there will be a supervisors only meeting on Feb 20th, where they are rumored to discuss employee firings. Poster responds at 3:27 PM that this whole situation is fucking horrible.
