Summer is really here in North Otago. It feels just like Auckland. Its 24 °C
The plum trees are doing their thing. Having a mini orchard on the front lawn is amazing.

Easier than I thought. Might be a longer hill but gradient is less. Meant to take a pic from the pass but at Sumner beach now and trying to find a swimming pool because it’s 25C. Made my 7000 vertical metres target though so that is a bonus.

Found out that I could go on the ferry off peak for free, after I paid.
Diamond Harbour reminds me of a feel the serenity moment in The Castle. Birdsong is great.
Now cycling back over the pass to the city. The hill is fine. The traffic and lack of space for cyclists is not ideal though.

I accidentally managed 1003 in the last 4 weeks and 1 day. That one extra day on the trail git me over the target.
My latte art game needs more practise though.

I have been practising riding through streams & fords without getting my feet wet.
This looked harder than it was. I made it so that was very good. Less than 5C and that water is colder.
