me in a messy sewing room, dressed for a job interview in a denim jacket, pointy earrings, and a temple dress, but holding a scimitar over my shoulder. I learned some kendo as a teenager and to this day I view it as a great arm workout you can pick up and do, because it has a set of well-defined controlled motions that work various parts of your arms in the course of managing the rotational momentum of a sword, involves your legs and core too, and you can scale it up and down in speed to be better strength training or better cardio. I moved to this scimitar a couple years ago because it's a bit heavier than a katana

Nah it wraps around eventually. Once you start using individual computers as monitors you can scale your workstation up and down modularly as needed. Some cafe tasks are one-laptop tasks, some might be three, and sometimes I forego the laptop and just bring a deck of cards

I live with a vegan partner, and while I've taken steps in that direction, I'm still a pescatarian myself. I once told another vegan partner that I am hrair, a word that comes from watership down's rabbit language. it means "thousand" and "many" and "enemy", it kind of connotes "predator" in being friends with rabbits and vegans, one comes frequently in contact with the idea that eating animals is not an insignificant choice. I still feel like I need both fish and lactose occasionally, but I think examining that is of value, even if I do not ultimately choose to be vegan myself

A vegan, gluten-free pizza with olive oil-based vegan cheeze, green olives, local blueberries, marinated soy curls, vietnamese pickled daikon and carrots, and lion's mane mushrooms. The sauce is homemade with tomatoes, garden herbs and red szechuan peppers The toppings are arranged in a circle, intended to invoke a self-similar iris-like motif. In the center is a pentagram made of mushrooms The photo is taken from above my stove, and also shows my feet in some floral printed black mesh slippers and the hem of my thai temple clothes (the elephant dress they sell you at a wot if you're not dressed modestly enough to go in The same pizza, now sliced, showing off the vegan gruyere stuffed crust and some pots and pans on my stove. This crust is the King Arthur de-glutened 00 neopolitan wheat starch flour which is still insane to me as a celiac-sufferer. It never browns but makes a delicious crust that's both fluffy inside and hard on the outside

The IDR food choice test that's been going around. Mine has the buckets ranked upper, upper middle, lower middle, lower, and middle in that order, with a clear 60.71% preference for upper class food. An unhinged and reckless tarot reading I did for myself at a local laundromat. The spread consists of a binary tree complete to a depth of four. The cards, in left-first depth-first traversal order, are the queen of swords, death, the 8 of pentacles reversed, the 9 of pentacles, the page of cups, the king of cups inverted, the ace of cups upside-down, the four of swords, the ten of swords averted, the devil, the badass (a contrivance of this edgy deck in particular, a figure of a vaguely beat-flavored edgy dude in sunglasses, positioned as XXII, and with the helpful annotations "smooth, autonomous" as additional cues to its intended semiotic connotations), the ace of swords, temperance subverted, and the four and nine of wands respectively as the rightmost branch. The countertop has a mottled blue pattern, and my black and red fish leather notebook as well as the black and red pens I used to diagram and annotate this reading are also shown, as is the box for this tarot deck, the Darkana Quality Maverick Winning Tarot by Janden Hale, which was apparently printed in India by the now defunct www.brahmaplayingcards.com, and found me by happenstance in the Revolutions Bookshop in St Johns one year ago. As this reading was for personal purposes I will not elaborate on the prompt I grew this tree with, nor the inference I drew from it, though I leave this artifact of geometric order as an exercise for your intuition if you're into that sort of thing. The observant and wise may intuit desperation or hubris in my trying to cast a bifurcating ray this deep in my causal light cone, but we live in reckless times
