Dad, husband and post the odd thing for @leedsunited.com #LUFC
This is where it’ll get interesting, as they’ll have to make similar decisions to what Twitter eventually made with ads/feeds etc They just became obsessed with removing echo chambers, whereas Bluesky is nice because it retains those walls and it feels more harmonious

It’s definitely a much nicer experience, looking forward to seeing what a matchday is like on here
November 22, 2024 at 12:22 PM
🤣 That’s the best compliment we can ever get, when people can’t tell if it’s a fan account or official

Things like whether the hype dies down over time and people go back to X, the lack of analytics stopping more content creators moving over, Bluesky only having 20 employees so they need to grow their staffing and quick, will the open apis make it easier for bots to post, how will they monetise it
November 22, 2024 at 12:18 PM
They didn’t boycott it, but pretty much every club was on Threads in the first 24 hours, this time, we’re still one of the first and Bluesky has been around for months
November 22, 2024 at 11:50 AM
It does and would like nothing more than Bluesky to be a success, but it needs to prove that it’s not another Threads, where everyone jumps on it because they dislike Elon Musk, then after a few weeks decide to go back to X
November 22, 2024 at 11:42 AM
It’s great, first posts on new platforms tend to do well, it’s how the engagement looks after a week, month etc. that’ll be interesting. Saw similar with Threads, but difference this time is that it looks like Bluesky is actually eating into X’s engagement
November 22, 2024 at 11:33 AM
Trialing it atm and will be very much directed by #LUFC fans. If everyone keeps engaging/sharing with the account, we’ll do more, if it dies off like some other platforms have, we’ll move on. Asked the other day and everyone seems to want what we post on X initially, but will mix it up as we go
November 22, 2024 at 10:57 AM
Did see the venn diagram and think it’s far too nice and calm on here, it needs an #LUFC matchday meltdown to change all that 🤣

Theory as of right this minute, but if Bluesky really takes off then we’ll always go where the majority of fans are
November 14, 2024 at 5:19 PM
👀 Funny you should mention that…
November 14, 2024 at 4:51 PM
Yeah, we stripped back a lot of the in-game posts when X removed the chrono feed and found people were only engaging with key moments/photos and shortened captions etc. Interested to see when everything is chronological, do fans get annoyed with teams posting a lot in a short space of time
November 14, 2024 at 4:38 PM
It’s coming, all filmed, just needs editing but on annual leave atm
November 14, 2024 at 4:28 PM
Yeah, hoping Bluesky add polls quickly with ability to have more than four options, would open up the type of questions you can ask

@leedsunited.com was originally leedsunitedfc but been playing around with the domain names, annoyingly previous links don’t redirect
November 14, 2024 at 4:10 PM
Yeah, natural that there’ll be plenty of glitches and bugs as they scale up, nice to see their devs being transparent and proactive, really does feel like the early days of Twitter
