Yes he does. I just had one. Not only did my Dr tell me why he wanted me to have one, when I went in, I was positioned exactly where they wanted to do the imaging. In 3-7 days your Dr tells you the results!

I just had an MRI; they tell you upfront why they feel deeper imaging is necessary. When you go in, "they position you to scan the area in question." No MRI is done without a detailed explanation of the "issue" they need to see better! In 3-7 days your Dr. tells you the results!
