the best ❤

It said the limit wasn't reached yet, weird. Anyway, that's all, folks.

However, if the next rpg won't be a leap, remaining a step like this game was, it likely won't be sufficient. It will be more like stagnation, not a theme or a way to do things. And I don't imagine the reception to be good in that case, from me included. But I most certainly hope for the best. ❤

But what I do have more expectations for is Obsidian's next big rpg, whatever that may be. If The Outer Worlds 2 was a step forward, I want the next game to be a leap, with something new in every department. Something cool. And I hope that Josh Sawyer and John Gonzalez are involved in the cooking.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, while I liked the game, it probably won't be very memorable, much like the first wasn't to me. It's a product, not without passion, but still too safe, familiar. I'm interested in the upcoming dlcs, but I don't imagine them being much different. Who knows though.

I liked that camera in dialogue is less static, feels much better, but characters still mostly just stand around talking to each other. Cyberpunk 2077 comes to mind with its dynamic scenes, no matter how action packed or mundane they were, the animations and interaction were spectacular.

I wish there were more ways to go through encounters, like non lethal stuff, more ways to pass via dialogue. Even the cool disguise system from the first game didn't return, which is a bummer.

The world still feels kinda dead. Even older bethesda style schedules would do wonders here.

Thankfully, you can go independent this time, or even make an alliance between the important factions, but the antagonist faction (which you can't join) still feels the most interesting and just the right mix of serious and satire, which I wish were the case for other factions.

Aside from that, even though I liked the game and found the rpg system just great, there's nothing innovative, especially with that price tag. I liked the new antagonist faction, but other three are "good I guess", "evil caricature" and "small and unimportant", just like in the first game.

I still remember shooting bottles with Garrus, drinking with The Iron Bull, and I can just imagine a scene where we cook with Niles, make fun of corporate jingles with Inez, or hear Tristan be passionate about pulp fiction. Maybe I missed something, of course, but stuff in their rooms ain't enough.

There were a lot of jokes about lack of companion romance in the promotion of this game, but after completing it I feel like romance options, or even just some small friendly bonding scenes would greatly improve things, make characters more memorable.

Yeah, not a real-time-with-pause fan myself, so a welcome change to the game I already adore.

Tried it for a bit already. Didn't have any bugs so far, and the combat feels much better to me. It is in the beta branch, however, so anything can happen.

Yeah, that'll never happen. Unless?..
