The HAM facility working group proposes the Olympia Terminal and the Port of Helsinki’s Head Office in Makasiiniranta as the new location of the HAM Helsinki Art Museum. Other alternatives compared in the final stage of the facility assessment included a new underground building in Makasiinipuisto and the former sugar factory premises in Töölönlahti.

The City of Helsinki Environmental Services is preparing to establish a new nature reserve in Furuvik, Jollas. A management and use plan for the area will also be drawn up. The aim is to submit the proposal for the establishment of the area and the management and use plan to decision-making by the City in late autumn.
