I know a few people, and know of others, that shut down their businesses because the entire premise was the import angle. The tariff nonsense killed them.

Nevermind that a reporter told me about cases they've encountered in which Venezuelan immigrants have used the CBP Home app to "self-deport," only to spend months in detention instead. It goes without saying that they also never received the promised $1,000 from DHS.

They don’t even need to rewrite laws. I see people earnestly talking about holding fascists accountable *someday* but it’s like, who is going to make that happen? The enforcers, the thousand layers of policing in the US, are fully aligned with fascism.
