Which is why, in the next couple of weeks, I'm stocking up on canned goods. If last year's $200B in imported groceries is now expected (by economists, who know these things) to cost $240B with Trump's tariffs, I'm not about to go hungry.
This will mean higher gas prices, higher alcohol prices, higher food prices, higher building prices, higher car prices, higher pharmaceutical prices, etc. Trump is about to teach Americans who *actually* pays for tariffs (the consumers do).

I just, by the grace of Mother Abagail, come into possession of a 1978 copy of The Stand, and since it meant so much to me b4/during COVID, I'd love to get it signed! 💖

So ... how are we all doing? Enjoying the Trump nominees being taken down by public outrage, one by one? Gaetz was fun, but Pam Bondi took a bribe from the Trump Foundation as a campaign contribution, and then decided NOT to prosecute Trump U, so let's keep going!!!
