Well, not out in the suburbs. Even though we have had a lot of ice activity, there’s a big divide. There are those of us who are angry and disgusted, and those “back the blue” folks who are fine with all this. All equally vocal.

I had a lawyer once tell me that practicing the law and scientific inquiry are the same. No they’re not and JD is wrong. I used to be a research scientist.

The only entity benefiting from lengthy mortgages is the loan holder. If one does the math it would be better to be a renter than take on that long of a mortgage.

By me the suburban moms are highly pissed off. So I’m not sure how successful their business will be against a bunch of angry mama bears.

I’m in Mount Prospect and told our landscaper to stay home until it was safe. Haven’t seen him in 3 weeks. The business is licensed and bonded, so they have work authorization from the federal government. DHS has said that’s not enough for people to be here legally. Crazy.
