Once again, minister Hamish Falconer shows the Foreign Office is very relaxed about the ongoing imprisonment of Imran Khan in Pakistan.

Compare this to the government's furore over Russia's previous jailing of Alexei Navalny.

TOM COTTON: The premise of your question is not well-founded

BERMAN: The answer is no. It would not be legal to kill them.

It is interesting that Jeremy Corbyn has been an MP for 42 years and led the opposition for 5 years.

He's been on Question Time once.

Nigel Farage, 44 times.

Hunger strikes by Palestinian political prisoners held illegally in Israeli jails receive more coverage from the Israeli press than the British media are giving to a weeks-long hunger strike by the political prisoners of Palestine Action.

Wealth inequality is eating this country alive. Concentrated wealth is already endangering our democracy. Wealth doesn’t just beget more wealth — it begets more power.

It’s a vicious cycle that destroys our economy and democracy at the same time.

Is there any chance we could see and hear a lot more Russians expressing pro-Russian points of view on our screens that they don’t have to pay for? We get 24/7 points of view condemning Russia for crimes it didn’t commit. Have we already declared war against Russia such that free speech is barred?

The government’s growth policy is all in the arms industry but that is something they are not boasting about. I wonder why? Our taxes are being spent in arming Ukraine and NATO and in supporting Netanyahu in Palestine. Convince me I’m wrong.

Why did the Chancellor have nothing to say about their proposals to spend billions on weapons manufacture and support for Ukraine, Israel and USA against Venezuela? Not a mention! Does that come from the Money Tree they say doesn’t exist?
