this sounds confusing, as the 1970s Boney M is Frank Farian, aka the mastermind behind the original Boney M, also Milli Vanilli and La Bouche et al

I feel like I saw this show in 1996, on his solo acoustic tour. Just Bruce, a few guitars, and a lot of harmonicas. Awesome experience in a small venue.

TIL Nuyorican Soul performed a couple of live shows in 1997 and 2000 🤨

I saw Underworld do an Ultra Miami warm-up set at a small venue in Atlanta and it was bonkers. They had no idea how big "Two Months Off" is here, but circled back to it and jammed on it for another ten minutes.

One used VHS copy from Phar-Mor, one new VHS from Suncoast, one laserdisc copy from a store I forget, one DVD copy from Best Buy, and now the streaming copy on Google Play (now YouTube Movies). I can quote the entire script of both Ruthless People and Trading Places lol

I was once removed from a bar for playing Linda Eder’s “Man of La Mancha” multiple times. That was a fun night that the bar did not *intend* to be karaoke, but alas my friends….

Outside the USA, it's known as Aldi Sud. Know what its sister store Aldi Nord is known as in the USA? Trader Joe's. In Buckhead, they're a block from each other.

I wouldn't write it off right now, as the overstock from Trader Joe's will be on the shelf at Aldi during the holidays LOL

I saw it on the big screen and found it amazing. But different strokes for different folks?

(I also like Robert Pattinson and Mia Goth in “High Life”, but I’m going to suggest you never attempt that one as it’s 2001 with the nihilism of approaching a black hole)

I'll counter with this one. His late 90s output was dark, combining a production of hyper-stylized industrial sounds with drum and bass rhythms. But the songwriting was solid. And when "Dead Man Walking" got stripped down to acoustic, it was jaw-dropping amazing.

while the bar I was working at played the hell out to the Alanis album (especially "you live you learn"), I was given a promo single with this on it and we played this version more often than the Alanis version LOL
