I remember watching this with my bf when it came out. It’s not something I’m keen to rewatch, but I do think it’s noteworthy in queer film history. Just curious, how do you think the ending could be improved?

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by “the system”? To me, the word system sounds impersonal. I think most ppl don’t see themselves as part of the system, and therefore don’t own up to the part they played in it. I’m not accusing you of this, but rather every 1 who voted for authoritarianism.

That’s interesting. Although, sometimes I wonder if fans (or even pros) sharing ideas online makes it legally complicated for publishers like DC to use those ideas and designs. I’ve seen it before when they get sued or accused of stealing and they claim coincidence rather than compensate the fan.
