Well, that's the name anyway. The ponds started out as swimming ponds, in the days when air conditioning wasn't common. They're now fishing ponds, no swimming, but the name has stuck.

I forgot to mention the location: Isleta Lakes, operated by the Pueblo of Isleta in New Mexico.
