Civil trial lawyer for half a century on both sides of the Bar - still practicing full-time. Selected as a "Superlawyer" 13 times. Unashamedly liberal. I stand for human rights.

😂. I bet I am not the only old person whose middle aged offspring already put me on notice that they don’t want to inherit my “stuff,” despite it being, frankly, very nice “stuff.”
Good thing that I made a rule decades ago: Collection = 3.
More than 3 becomes clutter. Christmas decorations exempted.

Time to think about how Thanksgiving is a holiday we all need to remember as the occasion to memorialize our good fortune to enjoy the democracy in which we live. All of you should listen to the message of this recitation of the import of the holiday.

See those four bars on his shoulder?Senator Mark Kelly is pure class - a Navy Captain and war hero.

Hegseth - little more than hair gel - is just a dry drunk at best.

I’d like to see Kelly v. Vance running for POTUS in ‘28. Guess who would win.

Sad story about an auto crash caused in major part because of drunk driving. Suit against the guilty driver is only part of the recovery to be made. The DRAM SHOP serving the booze is the additional party with a $107,000 exposure.

Dram liability is my specialty!

We had a similar sewerage backup in our lower level family room which I use as my office. Erie Insurance accepted the estimate from a remediation company of $9,800 immediately. The problem was cured - there was no fight 1ike Travelers did here

Disappointing decision - The Appellate court had it right, but it was reversed by the SCOTSOIL. I see the misconduct of the coach to be not only willful and wanton, but that the school district was more than just negligent in passive toleration.

At issue in the case below - whether over $95,000 of student loans is subject to collection. If a 5 year statute of limitations applies, student goes scot free. If 10 years, she loses. The trial court ruled against her. Affirmed on appeal.

ICE arrests in my home town have spooked the Hispanic community - needlessly and to the detriment of the entire Metro area. Workers have been discouraged from seeking day to day employment. Parents have been reluctant to send their children to school. Needless havoc!

Terrible decision IMO. Plaintiff's child was shot + killed at a party in upper-class Lake Forest. Host had advertised party on FB, charged admission, said there would be security at the door. Dismissal of complaint affirmed - POOR REASONING.
